The Law Admission Test 2025 is the official entrance exam for admission into the five-year LL.B. (Hons) program in Pakistan. 2. How Often Does HEC Conduct LAT?
HEC organizes the Law Admission Test 2025 multiple times every year, so students have more than one opportunity to qualify. Usually, the test takes place three times a year—once in January, again in May, and finally in August or September. Consequently, you do not need to worry if you miss one session, because another session will follow a few months later.

4. How to Register for Law Admission Test 2025
The registration process is simple, but you must follow each step carefully. First, visit the HEC portal 👉 etc.hec.gov.pk. Then, create your profile and click on the Law Admission Test (LAT) option. After that, choose your test center wisely, because you cannot change it later.
Next, download the fee challan and pay the LAT fee in HBL, 1Link, JazzCash, or Easypaisa. Once paid, upload the challan on the portal. Finally, submit your application. Remember: if your application stays in “saved” mode, HEC will not consider it.
5. Law Admission Test 2025 Fee
The fee for LAT is PKR 1,800. You must pay this amount through HBL or any 1Link partner service. The fee is non-refundable; therefore, double-check your details before submission.

- Your roll number slip
- Your original CNIC or B-Form
- A copy of your paid challan
Without these documents, you cannot enter the test center.
8. Law Admission Test 2025 Results
HEC usually releases the answer key within one week of the test. This allows students to check their expected marks. The final result is announced in about 30–40 days. You can log in to 👉 HEC LAT Results and download your official scorecard.
9. Student Insights
Students generally find LAT easier than other entry tests. Most universities simply require you to pass the test with at least 50 marks; they do not use your LAT score for merit calculation. Consequently, the main goal is just to qualify.
Many students say that the MCQs are simple, while the essay and personal statement help you demonstrate your writing ability. If you prepare basic English, Urdu, Pakistan Studies, and Islamiat, you can pass without difficulty.
